What to expect
If you haven’t been to physical therapy before, you’ll first be greeted by your therapist and given time to discuss your symptoms. After a physical evaluation, your physical therapist will share the diagnosis and a treatment plan, including the time to expect for improvement. Generally speaking, we tell patients to expect initial progress between four and six weeks into treatment.
At six weeks you will be reassessed, or sooner depending on your progress and what your therapist thinks is appropriate for you.
