Michele G Rogers, MA, CPT is a career health and fitness professional having dabbled in other areas such as writing/editing, marketing, website management, business consulting, and even owning a thrift store. As a chronic back pain sufferer, she understands what it is to be debilitated by pain and have to reclaim her body and her life.
Through all her personal and professional experiences, a passion for wellness and seeking knowledge in all related areas has been a constant, and helping others embrace the fundamental and profound benefits of a healthful lifestyle has been a driving force.
As The Feel Better Lounge’s Wellness Coordinator, Michele will remain committed to getting results for each client by exploring their needs, goals, and desires, and then tailoring programs that couple lifestyle changes with the amazing wellness services provided at The Feel Better Lounge.
Katie Knoop, MS, CNS candidate, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mary Washington in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Sustainability in 2014. From there, her passion for holistic healing brought her to Maryland University of Integrative Health where she earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health with a concentration in Human Clinical Nutrition in 2019.
She has since been gaining experience as a Personal Wellness Coach accumulating clinical hours for the Certified Nutrition Specialist credential with the American Nutrition Association. During this time, she has used a functional and personalized approach to help clients find balance, ease, and empowerment on their journey to health and wellness.
As a Wellness Mentor, Katie will bring her extensive knowledge of nutrition and passion for wellness to The Feel Better Lounge’s clientele.
Trey Whitlock, B.S., received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health and Education from Radford University in 2019 with concentrations in Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, and Leadership.
Throughout his education, he actively worked as Wellness Coordinator at a local location of a large, international wellness nonprofit. While at Radford, Trey was thrilled to intern in the Strength and Conditioning Department.
Trey’s enthusiasm for sports of all kinds is apparent as is his enjoyment of working with people from all backgrounds and ages. He loves a challenge and brings a depth of knowledge to a range of them: sport specific, injury rehabilitation, functional motion, corrective motion, geriatric among others.
Trey joined the IPS team in 2020 to expand his kinesiology experience and to offer stretch services professionally and has proven to be versatile in providing wellness services to the clinic patients. He looks forward to the opportunity of providing the same service to those who visit of The Feel Better Lounge.
